The African Development Bank is a premier pan-African development institution, driving economic growth and social progress across the continent. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Talent Management Officer to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a key position within our People and Talent Management Complex, responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive policies, procedures, and processes related to mobility, talent management, and career development. The successful candidate will work closely with our Talent Councils, Management teams, and Human Resources Business Partners to advance our talent management and career development agenda.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement mobility policies, procedures, and processes that align with our overall HR strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational excellence within mobility operations.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks or challenges related to mobility and talent management.
- Utilize data and analytics to generate insights and assist management in making informed decisions related to mobility and talent management.
- Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, recruitment, HR Operations, Learning and Development, and others.
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience as a HR Generalist, including mobility policy and programs, talent and career management processes and programs, succession planning, learning and development, compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection.
- Proven relevant experience in the mobility function, preferably within an international organization, demonstrating a deep understanding of mobility best practices.
