Job Title: International Operations Manager P3

United Nations Population Fund is seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Operations Manager P3 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and advice to the Country Office on all aspects of office management and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Country Office on operations management and administration.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Country Programme and the achievement of management targets.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for operations management and administration.
  • Supervise and manage a team of operations staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the Country Office.
  • Ensure the effective management of financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, partners, and other UN agencies.
Requirements:
  • Advanced university degree in public administration, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in administration, finance, or office management.
  • Thorough knowledge of the UN Staff Rules and Regulations, HR management policies, financial rules and regulations, and procurement.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
