Corporate Travel Services Division Head

The African Development Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Division Manager, Corporate Travel and Support Services. This position is a critical component of the Bank's overall operations, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of corporate travel and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement travel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage the day-to-day logistics of corporate travel, including travel bookings, catering, insurance, and transportation operations.
- Negotiate contracts with travel service providers to secure the best service, terms, and prices for the Bank.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and provide effective solutions.
- Leverage technology to improve business processes and analytics, and enhance the client experience.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or professional qualifications in a relevant field, such as Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or Tourism Management.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or highly supervisory role in corporate services and travel management.
- Leadership and strategic management skills, with demonstrated experience in coordinating administrative and business support services.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities under pressure and develop solutions to operational challenges.
- Effective communication and linguistic proficiency, with a strong command of English or French and preferably with working knowledge of the other language.
