Project Procurement Specialist

International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Procurement Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies
- Provide guidance and advice on procurement procedures and best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor and report on procurement performance and compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address procurement-related issues
- Advanced university degree in business administration, public administration, law, commerce, finance, or a related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in project procurement activities in an international organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The successful candidate will be based in IFAD's headquarters in Rome, Italy, and will be required to travel frequently to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
Language Requirements:Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is an asset.
