Summary The Planning Manager will oversee the planning and scheduling of a majorhydraulic project executed in joint venture. The role involves closecoordination with consortium partners, the client, and various stakeholders toensure optimal planning, rigorous monitoring, and proactive risk managementthroughout project execution.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, update, and optimize the project master schedule in coordination with JV partners.Define planning strategy, methodology, tools, milestones, and deliverables.Break down the project into WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and identify critical activities.Track key contractual milestones and regulatory deadlines.Manage project progress monitoring (data collection, forecast vs. actual comparison, adjustments).Provide regular reports (weekly and monthly) to the JV steering committee and the client.Manage schedule -related risks and propose corrective measures.Ensure integration of interfaces across civil works, electromechanical equipment, and hydraulic networks.Align and harmonize schedules between consortium partners.Actively participate in coordination meetings with the client, subcontractors, and partners. RequirementsEngineering degree in Civil Works, Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, or equivalent.Minimum years' experience in planning large infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years in hydraulic projects (dams, water supply, pumping stations, networks, etc.).Proven experience in Joint Ventures/Consortiums with strong understanding of contractual and organizational issues.Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera P6 required; MS Project, TILOS a plus).Solid contract management knowledge (FIDIC preferred) and claims/delay follow -up.Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and French.Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills with ability to coordinate multi -party and multicultural environments.Willingness to be based on the project site (mobility required).
