Facility Manager

The Facility Manager for the hospital in Abidjan is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all hospital infrastructure and systems, including building services, biomedical equipment, safety systems, and utility services. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and fluency in French to interact with staff and regulatory bodies effectively.
QualificationsRequired Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience & Certificates:
-Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facility or operations management in a healthcare environment.
-Certification in facility or healthcare management (e.g., CHFM, CFM) is an advantage.
-Experience with hospital safety protocols, maintenance planning, and biomedical systems.
Required Skills:
-Strong knowledge of hospital infrastructure, safety, and compliance standards.
-Familiarity with local and international healthcare facility regulations.
-Project management and cost control abilities.
- Ability to build up a team.
-Proficient in facility management software and reporting tools.
-Language Proficiency: Fluency in French is mandatory; English is a plus.
Tasks and Duties:
-Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and biomedical systems.
-Ensure continuous operation of hospital services and utilities.
-Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accreditation standards.
-Coordinate renovation or construction projects.
-Supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
-Monitor budgets, service contracts, and performance metrics.
- Set up procedures and follow up on procedures.
