Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Operations Officer to join our team As a key member of our Fiduciary Services and Inspection Department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that project procurement activities financed by the Bank are compliant with our procurement policy.
Your responsibilities will include advising on procurement arrangements, reviewing procurement decisions, and contributing to the preparation of the Bank's Country Strategy Paper. You'll also be involved in building procurement capacity of Borrowers, which includes training of Borrower staff, advising on project-related procurement matters, and assessing and strengthening Borrowers' procurement systems.
Requirements- A Master's degree in Engineering, Public/Business Administration, Law, Procurement, Economics, or related fields.
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in providing procurement support and advice to the preparation and implementation of programs and projects financed by the Bank or any other similar institution in developing countries.
- Proven familiarity with and solid experience in the practice of procurement of goods and works and the acquisition of consultancy services under donor-funded development projects/programs.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous leave entitlements.
