Job Summary:
The African Development Bank (AfDB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Investment Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing infrastructure investment transactions in the transport and urban development sectors. The officer will work closely with the Bank's clients, partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement investment strategies that promote economic growth and social development in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the transport and urban development sectors
• Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the Bank's development agenda
• Structure and execute infrastructure investment transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiation of terms and conditions
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement investment projects
• Provide technical assistance and support to clients and partners to enhance their capacity to develop and implement investment projects
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment projects and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 6 years of professional experience in infrastructure finance, investment banking, or a related field
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Fluency in English and/or French
