">Job Description
">We are seeking an experienced Deputy Representative - Operations to join our team in Côte d'Ivoire. As a key member of our Country Programme Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Office and driving results for children in the country.
">Main Responsibilities
">The Deputy Representative - Operations will lead by example and support the Head of Office in managing the office. You will also act as Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Head of Office and manage services in functional areas such as budget, financial management, reporting, facilities, administration, supply and logistics, ICT, and safety and security.
">You will ensure processes are in place to identify, promote, and empower staff through career development, stretch assignments, and succession planning. Additionally, you will represent the organizational risk, governance systems, and policies perspective in management discussions and promote results-based management.
">The successful candidate will have experience in advocating and implementing strategic organizational initiatives in operations management areas, including budget, financial management, reporting, facilities, administration, supply and logistics, ICT, and human resources.
">You will have strong analytical skills and be able to provide risk-informed, solution-focused analysis, advice, and services to contribute to programme and management decisions. You will also have experience in managing successful client-oriented work units and co-creating policy.
">Able to work under pressure in high-threat environments, the ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, emotional intelligence, and a proven track record of leading and managing people.
">Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- An Advanced University Degree (Master's and above) in Business Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Public Finance, or related operations functions;">
- At least 10 years of professional experience in operations management areas, including budget, financial management, reporting, facilities, administration, supply and logistics, ICT, and human resources;">
- Experience in humanitarian settings and prior experience working with or in the private sector would be an asset;">
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and experience in Results-Based Management is a requirement;">
- Fluency in French and working knowledge in English;">
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the country and occasionally internationally.">
