At Eni, we are looking for a Technical Specialist within Versalis International Côte d'Ivoire, in Abidjan. Please note that this is an office-based role.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise to customers in the oil and gas sector, verify their requirements and advise accordingly.
• Oversee chemical treatments and related services delivered to customers across the region.
• Review technical specifications and performance, including but not limited to process flows, instrumentation diagrams and injection levels.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of treatments to deliver specific recommendations for improvement.
• Use laboratory equipment and perform performance tests on chemicals.
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and other corporate resources.

Skills and experience required:

• University degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related.
• Strong experience in the oil & gas sector, ideally with a production chemical environment.
• Fluent in French; working proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong commitment to assigned duties and a results-driven mindset.
• Open-minded, energetic, proactive and self-motivated.
