The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is a leading international financial institution dedicated to eradicating rural poverty and hunger. As an innovative thinker, you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful projects and initiatives that enhance agricultural productivity and elevate rural incomes.
About the Role:We seek a highly skilled Regional Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this critical position, you will provide analytical support, data management solutions, and creative insights required for effective program management in the region. You will work closely with regional teams to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, ensuring the successful implementation of our strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:- Analytical Support and Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform project design reports, country assessments, and corporate regional reports.
- Monitoring and Evaluation and Systematization Support: Collaborate with regional teams to ensure compliance with procedures, knowledge management, and results reporting for portfolio management.
- Regional or Country Programme Support: Develop regular reports on project, country programme, or thematic issues, including lessons learned from design and implementation experiences.
- Policymaking Analysis Support: Participate in select policy meetings and events, analyzing policy implications and identifying opportunities for innovation and knowledge sharing.
You will be evaluated based on your ability to deliver high-quality analytical reports, data-driven insights, and policy analysis recommendations that drive impactful decision-making. Your success will contribute significantly to the achievement of our organization's goals and objectives.

To succeed in this role, you must have:
- An advanced university degree in economics, business administration, management, social policy research and analysis, rural development, agriculture, agricultural economics, rural finance, development policy, or related disciplines.
- At least two years of progressively relevant experience in data management, data science, and analytical support within an international financial institution, development cooperation agencies, or the United Nations system.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
This role is based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, with potential travel requirements to other locations within the region.
