Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at the African Development Bank. As a key member of our Internal Audit Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead audit teams in planning and conducting audits of Bank-wide activities and operations
- Develop and implement audit programs to ensure compliance with established professional internal auditing standards
- Conduct fieldwork, collect data, and analyze information to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement
- Supervise and review the work of other auditors and consultants to ensure quality and timeliness
- Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the Board of Directors
- Master's degree in Audit, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Minimum 7 years of auditing experience in a reputable firm or international financial institution
- Sound knowledge of private and public sector operations, financial instruments, and information systems
- Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, project management, and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English or French, preferably with a working knowledge of the other language
