Summary
We are seeking a Regional Commercial Head of IC/Industrial Chemicals B2B Sales Head (Local) to join a leading client in the agriculture industry based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. This role is pivotal in driving sales and business development for our diverse portfolio of industrial chemicals. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong understanding of industrial chemicals and a proven track record of success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth across multiple industrial sectors, including paints, petrochemicals, mining, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients in the industrial chemicals sector.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Target and acquire new B2B customers in Ivory Coast and potentially neighboring countries.
  • Provide technical advice, support, and training to customers on chemical products.
  • Lead negotiations, deliver sales presentations, and close deals to meet sales targets.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to senior management.

Requirements Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial chemicals sector.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience selling to clients in Ivory Coast and ideally in neighboring West African countries.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven sales environment.
  • Fluency in French; English or other local languages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Ivory Coast and neighboring countries.

Benefits Salary: AED$2,000 to $4,000
