We Are Looking for: EPIDEMIOLOGY INTERN

Direct Manager: Head of Epidemiology
Assigned Mentor: Head of Epidemiology
Working %: 100%
Position Based in: Abidjan, HQ
Type of Contract: Fixed-Term Internship Contract under Ivorian law; (3) months Renewable

Your Role in the team

Support epidemiological surveillance in the MSF WACA intervention zones and work on alerts in countries without MSF presence in collaboration with epidemiologists and data analysts at country level.
o Surveillance and early detection
o Support for in-depth investigations
o Preparation of periodic situation reports
o Support for the development of epidemic risk analysis by country and by period

Organize periodic meetings with epidemiologists and data analysts at country level

Support the use of data for decision-making (monitoring of logical frameworks and compilation at global level)

Support the HIS in collecting user histories in order to refine the system
