About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Baghdad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and overseeing the preparation of financial reports.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and international accounting standards.
• Lead the preparation of internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Oversee the accounting team's daily operations and provide leadership and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain financial procedures and controls to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or similar certification preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of international financial regulations and tax laws.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic (preferred).
