Job Description
Financial Analyst
Leap29 is assisting leading renewables investment firm specialising in clean energy markets. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Abidjan.
This role requires strong analytical, financial modelling, and valuation skills to support investment origination, execution, monitoring, and exit strategies. The analyst will collaborate closely with regional teams, market specialists, and external stakeholders to drive impactful investment decisions.
Responsibilities
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
• Build and maintain financial models for new investments, valuations, and portfolio monitoring.
• Assist in deal origination, due diligence, execution, and investment structuring.
• Prepare investment memorandums, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the negotiation and execution of investment agreements.
• Contribute to ongoing portfolio management, tracking financial performance, and identifying value creation opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align investment strategies with market trends.
• Stay updated on sector developments, financing structures, and emerging investment opportunities.
Technical Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, project finance, or private equity.
• Advanced financial modelling skills in MS Excel, including project finance and M&A modelling.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax considerations, and financial structuring.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
