We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Cyber Security Manager, reporting to Cyber Security Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring IT practices align with local cybersecurity regulations and internal standards for both banking and insurance sectors, such as HKMA C-RAF and HK IA GL20.
  • Support the streamlining of assessment processes and help monitor outstanding issues.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to facilitate remediation efforts.
  • Provide support in cybersecurity consultancy to various business units/functions to help identify risks and determine necessary IT security controls.
  • Participate in security assessments and reviews focused on cloud security, third-party security, and application security.
  • Assist in projects involving emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), by supporting the assessment of associated cybersecurity risks.
  • Help conduct IT and application risk assessments and provide input for software delivery design consultancy.
  • Monitor security incidents and assist in coordinating incident response activities, including investigation and containment.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and evaluate potential impacts on the bank.
  • Support the delivery of security awareness training to internal staff and third parties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Some experience in IT security and risk management; candidates with relevant internships or academic projects are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity controls and IT risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with banking and insurance regulations and guidelines related to cybersecurity and technology risk management is a plus.
  • Strong self-motivation, with good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Professional qualifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP and CEH are preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) is beneficial.
