Last Mile Senior Operator

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate and oversee the pickup and sorting operations at designated pickup points (PUPs) or sorting hubs within the last mile delivery network.
• Supervise and train pickup and sorting operators to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and performance targets.
• Manage the pickup schedule, including coordinating pickup times, routes, and vehicle assignments to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Ensure accurate and timely sorting of packages at designated sorting hubs, using appropriate sorting methods and equipment to maintain order and prevent mix-ups.
• Monitor inventory levels and package volumes at pickup points and sorting hubs, coordinating with logistics coordinators and warehouse staff to replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and addressing customer inquiries or concerns related to pickup and sorting processes in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics teams, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the last mile delivery network.
• Maintain accurate records of pickup and sorting activities, including package counts, delivery volumes, and inventory levels, using appropriate documentation and tracking systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of pickup points and sorting hubs to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize pickup and sorting processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
