Investment Director

Our client is a leading investment platform focused on long-term growth opportunities across Africa. With offices in strategic regions, the firm invests in high-potential businesses that drive economic development, particularly in sectors such as financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, logistics, and B2B services. As part of its expansion in West Africa, the firm is recruiting a Director of Investments to lead its operations in Abidjan. Key Responsibilities: Originate and execute new investment opportunitiesConduct deep analysis of target companies and relevant markets or sectorsLead deal structuring, financial modeling, and negotiationsManage internal investment processes and prepare decision-making materialsMonitor and support portfolio companies in their growth and value creation journeySupervise and mentor junior team membersContribute to regional strategy and pipeline development Candidate Profile: Masters degree or equivalent from a leading business or engineering school15+ years of professional experience, including in private equity, M&A, transaction services, or strategy consultingStrong track record in deal execution and portfolio managementExcellent analytical and leadership skillsProven ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentsProfessional fluency in EnglishPrior exposure to African markets is a strong plus Whats on Offer: A senior leadership role in one of the continents most dynamic investment platformsExposure to impactful investments across West AfricaAutonomy to shape deals and lead regional growth strategyA collaborative, mission-driven team environment
