International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Officer to join its Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Transaction Advisory Services team in West and Central Africa.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to origination and marketing activities across the region, identifying opportunities and developing new client relationships.
- Lead the day-to-day management of project teams, overseeing financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction structuring.
- Develop and implement upstream activities to create, deepen, and expand markets, working closely with the regional and global team.
- Provide innovative solutions and present recommendations to management and clients, ensuring prudent and sustainable risk sharing among all parties.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in business, finance, or economics.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, M&A, and privatizations, or private equity funds in infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to develop and present complex financial models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
