African Development Bank seeks an experienced Treasury Officer to join its Finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Bank's capital market operations, ensuring timely settlement of financial obligations, and overseeing the management of collateral and custodian relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Process Asset Liability Management (ALM) transactions and ensure timely settlement of Bank Group operations
- Lead initiatives to mitigate settlement transaction failures and provide measures to mitigate financial losses
- Review and upgrade internal control framework to minimize operational risks
- Supervise investigations of outstanding payments and claims for capital markets transactions
- Minimum Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
- At least six years of experience in Treasury Operations in a Multilateral Development Bank or similar organization
- Expertise in Asset and Liability Management principles, practices, and auditing
- Strong analytical and judgmental skills to solve complex settlement issues
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
