We are seeking an experienced GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of hands-on cloud experience with strong expertise in GCP architecture, migration, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy highly available and scalable GCP infrastructures
- Develop cloud architecture standards, policies, and best practice
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency
- Implement security, compliance, and governance controls
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams
- Monitor systems and troubleshoot performance or reliability issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of cloud experience with strong focus on Google Cloud Platform
- Deep knowledge of GCP core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar)
- Strong understanding of networking, identity management, and cloud security
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Google Cloud Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect preferred)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
