Job Role: Intern – (XOF/XAF Junior Currency Broker)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Junior Currency
Broker. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the financial markets, particularly the
currency market, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate FX
environment. The successful candidate will be bilingual in English and French, with strong
communication skills and a keen interest in learning about currency trading and brokerage
operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior brokers in executing currency trades for corporate clients.

• Monitor and analyze currency market trends, economic news, and geopolitical events
that impact exchange rates.

• Support the preparation of market reports and client briefings.

• Communicate with clients in both English and French to provide updates, answer
queries, and assist with trade execution.

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

• Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities and support client
acquisition efforts.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the brokerage team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or
a related field.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential.

• Strong interest in the currency market and financial markets in general.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Google Office Suite (Sheets, Docs Slides).

• Basic understanding of financial instruments is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
