Electrical Engineer – Project Supervision

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the construction of a large-scale Photovoltaic (PV) power plant, a vital component in the transition to renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of electrical system installation, commissioning, and quality assurance for the PV plant, ensuring compliance with national and international safety regulations.
- Supervision of contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to guarantee adherence to design and technical specifications.
- Collaboration with project managers, civil engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Review and approval of electrical drawings, schematics, and project documentation, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on milestones, risks, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Ensuring proper testing, commissioning, and grid connection of the PV plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on renewable energy or large-scale power projects.
- Proven experience in solar PV plant construction, grid connections, and high-voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and project specifications accurately.
- Capacity to work on-site in demanding environments and travel as required, often under time constraints.
- Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in French being a plus.
